Meet the Changeling Swarm!

These. Took. Forever. Chrysalis especially was quite a challenge. But she's also the best damn custom I've ever made, so well worth it. I'm also pretty happy with the Changeling Captain, but I'm just so happy with Chrysalis that everything else is overshadowed.

All made from Wave 3 blind bag ponies. From left to right, these were originally Rainbowshine, Noteworthy, Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, Twilight Sparkle (again), Applejack and Pinkie Pie.

All were painted with Citadel acrylics. They were sculpted mostly with Green Stuff, although the Captain's armour and Chrysalis' leg extensions were made with Milliput (my first time using it).

More details for each individual piece will be up on Monday. I'm going away for the weekend, won't have a chance before then. Just thought I'd throw the group shot up :D

All credit for the MLP Changelings goes to Hasbro.

I want SO badly to make a swarm of changelings! I recently finished my Queen so it's definitely on my to-do list :) Yours looks great though!

Thanks so much, that means a lot :) I've always loved to sculpt and paint, but hadn't ever really done so at such a small scale, so I was a little worried at the start. Hopefully I'll hsve many more to come now that I know that I'm at least somewhat capable :)

Yup. But since blindbag manes are just more sculpted plastic, it's not all that difficult.
